About Willow
Willow is ready to find her forever family đ§Ą
After the last month healing and settling into foster care, Willow is now healthy, happy, and ready to start the next chapter of her life.
When Willow first arrived in care, she needed time to feel safe. She hadnât had the easiest start. Willow came into rescue with a broken hip and required FHO surgery. Since then, she has healed beautifully, regained her strength, and has also been desexed.
Watching her grow stronger and more confident each day has been incredibly special. Willow has truly come out of her shell.
Willow is an American Staffy mix, just 1 year old and a perfect medium size at 22kg.
She is affectionate, gentle, and loves being close to her people. She isnât overly demanding â she simply enjoys connection. Willow will happily potter around the yard, soak up the sunshine (she takes sunbathing very seriously âď¸), enjoy a little play, and then curl up nearby to relax.
In foster care she has been around young children aged 1 and 2, and she has been incredibly patient, tolerant, and loving with them. Willow has a naturally soft nature and forms very strong bonds with her humans.
The type of home that would suit Willow best:
⢠Someone who is home more often than not, as she thrives on companionship
⢠A calm, stable household
⢠Another friendly dog as she has gained confidence from having a canine companion, cats are a bonus.
⢠Ideally a female owner. Due to her past she can be initially wary of men, but with patience and gentle consistency she absolutely builds trust â as she has already shown in foster care
⢠A family who wants a companion dog, not a backyard-only life
Willow is not high maintenance and doesnât ask for much at all. She simply deserves consistency, love, and a family who truly chooses her forever.
There is no rush â the right home matters more than anything.
She has done the hard yards.
Now she just needs the happy ending she deserves. đ
