Carmen is the next one of our sweet treats looking to find an understanding home to grow in!

After settling into her space Carmen has been keen to come and explore outside of her ‘safe space’. She’s spent the last couple of weeks building confidence and will now come and spend time with the humans while they watch tv.

Carmen has her very favourite soft spider toy which she likes to hunt and then will carry it around the house like a lion. Her favourite thing is to bask in the sun on her favourite chair and get scritches behind the ears. She is more than happy to be brushed and is even accepting of a mani-pedi every now and then. She has happily co-existed with another cat while in care and would be more than happy to share her space with a friendly feline in her new home. She has also been in foster care with a cat-friendly dog who she does quite enjoy so a dog who has had a previous cat friend would be perfect for her too.

We are looking for a family who are keen to go at her pace and understand that things like televisions, vacuums, washing machines etc are likely new to her and she needs patience to settle into a home environment. We are confident that she will continue to blossom into a very special lady if she is given a chance by the right family.

Carmen is desexed, microchipped and up to date with her vaccinations and parasite treatments. She has also had a recent dental. She is in care in Lilydale and taking applications from Victorian homes only. Carmen’s adoption fee has been reduced from our usual fee as our pound partner has covered the cost of the majority of her vet work.
