💔 Hi… I'm John Black 💔
For around 2 years, I lived out on the streets, surviving the only way I knew how.
Being a boy wasn't easy. I got into a lot of fights and ended up with sores and injuries because there was nobody looking out for me. 💔
I wasn't completely alone back then — I had a little friend. But things changed, and somehow I was the one left behind.
My sister was rescued and found a loving home. I'm so happy for her... and now it's finally my turn because I've been rescued too. 💙
I'm safe now, but I'm still very scared of humans. I prefer to keep my distance, and I might hiss sometimes (okay... maybe a lot 😅). I'm not trying to be scary — the world has just taught me to be cautious.
I may never be a lap cat, and that's okay.
I would not be suited to a home with children. I am still a reactive boy and need a very special someone who understands cats like me and is willing to give me the time, patience, and space I need to feel safe.
My ideal home would be one where I can spend my days relaxing in a secure catio or enclosed outdoor space, with someone who asks nothing of me except that I be myself. 💙
I'm FIV+, which means I need a special kind of home.
I would absolutely love a gentle female feline friend to keep me company and help me feel safe. Having a calm companion by my side would make the world seem a little less scary. 💕
I would also be very happy spending my days relaxing in a secure catio or enclosed outdoor space where I can watch the world go by and enjoy life at my own pace. 🐾
I'm fully vet worked and ready for my next chapter.
My adoption fee has been waived.
All I need now is someone willing to give me a chance. 💙

1. We ask that you fill in our Adoption Application before we make arrangements to meet a cat or kitten. This will help us to match you the best suited cat or kitten.

2. We will conduct an Interview via phone or video chat if your application is successful.
3. We will invite you to a meet and greet at a time that suits you and our foster carer.
4. If it is a purrfect match for cat and hooman, you will need to:
- Pay the adoption fee as listed. We accept direct deposit or cash.
- Sign our final adoption agreement and send it back to us
- We will conduct a house check and drop off your new friend. We carry out house checks to ensure that there aren't any escape routes, or toxic plants etc.
- We prefer our cats to remain indoors at all times for their safety and the safety of wildlife and are only outside if they have access to a cat run our are outside with supervision.
