About Rose - 8 Month Old Labrador X
Rose is my name, fetch is my game!
Hello… my name is Rose and I know it. I even come when you call me by name – most of the time!
I am smart, have a great sense of smell and an appetite to match it.
I love to play fetch, will bring the ball back to you most of the time and can guarantee that you will be ready to stop before me… but then I will be happy to have a nap where ever I flop.
My favourite creature is my 8 year old foster brother Caesar – I love to curl up and sleep next to him – he has been helping me learn manners and also been teaching me the tricks of the trade. I would love to go to a home with a dog brother or sister to keep me company when the humans go out.
I love to follow people around – especially my favourite human – she describes me as a “lap lab” as I won’t get nearly as big as my brother. If you stop long enough I will let you scratch my belly… I love a good belly rub!
When it comes to manners, I just want to please you so if I am not sure what you are doing, I will sit and wait for you to let me know. I am good at sitting and waiting before being told I can eat my meals.
I am pretty close to being fully toilet trained – sometimes I do an excited wee and forget I am inside but that is happening less and less.
I haven’t met any young children yet and I can get a bit jumpy because I get excited when I meet new people so I’d be best suited to a house with children over 8 years old who can help me learn not to jump.
I have started to love walking on the lead and can’t wait until I am fully vaccinated and allowed to go anywhere!
Rose’s adoption fee is $900. She has been desexed, vaccinated, treated for fleas, ticks and worms, and is microchipped. Rose is in foster care in Wamberal, NSW.
