🐾 Meet Popeye 🐾

Popeye is a little legend with a story to tell and a personality that keeps things interesting. This cheeky ginger boy may have had a rough start, but these days he’s all about the good life and making his presence known in the best way possible.

Currently living in foster care with a loving family, Popeye has settled in beautifully and shown us exactly who he is. He’s confident, curious, and just the right amount of cheeky. You’ll often find him perched by the window keeping an eye on the world, supervising daily life from the couch, or rolling onto his back in full relaxation mode like he owns the place.

He’s a cat who likes to be part of what’s going on. Whether you’re cooking, moving around the house, or just trying to have a quiet moment, Popeye is nearby, watching, chatting, and occasionally offering his “help.” He’s quite the vocal boy and will happily let you know when it’s dinner time, when he wants pats, or when something simply requires your attention.

When he’s in the mood for affection, Popeye will follow you around and settle as close as he can, enjoying pats and companionship on his terms. He’s not a fan of being picked up, but he more than makes up for it with his company, character, and those classic ginger expressions.

Popeye also knows what he likes when it comes to food. He’s a bit of a connoisseur and prefers his meals to be wet food with plenty of gravy. Add in some treats and a comfy spot on the couch, and you’ve got one very content cat.

Foster care means we’ve been able to really get to know Popeye’s personality, quirks, and what helps him feel comfortable. He’s a cat who brings a bit of fun, a bit of sass, and a lot of presence into a home.

If you’re looking for a companion with character, a strong sense of self, and plenty of charm, Popeye could be just the addition you’re after. He’s currently in foster care and can be met easily by sending in an adoption application. From there, we can arrange a meet and greet so you can see his personality for yourself.

I CAN FLY TO PERTH!

Flying for a few hours is very important for animals in remote locations because it gives us the opportunity to be adopted. Talk to SAFE about flying me to Perth.
