Pearl is a gentle and sensitive girl who will need a calm, patient home to help her feel safe and secure. She should begin in a small, quiet area with access to hard-to-reach spots blocked off, allowing her time to settle before gradually exploring the rest of the house. Large open spaces and sudden noises can be overwhelming for her, so a slow, gentle approach is key. Providing enrichment such as scratch posts, cat trees, and cozy hiding spots like cardboard boxes or cat igloos will help build her confidence. Pearl would benefit from an understanding adopter who recognises she may be timid at first and will need time to show her true personality. She may also do well with a calm, social cat companion who can help guide and reassure her. Once she feels safe, Pearl enjoys gentle pats and affection, often bunting and rolling onto your hand with soft purrs.
