About Oreo
Meet Oreo,
Oreo is a 1-year-old desexed female rabbit who is still learning to trust people after limited early handling, so while she's got the looks of a "funny bunny," she's not quite ready for the full hip-hop cuddle life just yet. She can be defensive and may bite when frightened, so she needs a calm, patient home without small children, where adopters are willing to go slow and respect her boundaries (no sudden moves-she's not a fan of surprise "hare-raising" moments!). Oreo is best suited to adults or teens, with a large indoor enclosure, supervised outdoor time, and plenty of enrichment to keep this clever bunny busy. She may benefit from a rabbit companion in the future and will thrive with gentle, consistent interaction and a proper diet.
Adoption details
Our adoption process is designed to match you with the right pet, the first time. Our team are experts at rehoming animals who have specific needs that match your lifestyle, to ensure every adoption placement will last a lifetime.
At our Peninsula site, adoption hours are 12pm – 4pm. You are welcome to attend our reception office without an appointment to begin our adoption process during adoption hours.
The adoption areas are not free to walk through, and you will need to chat with our staff to confirm that a potential adoption is a good match.
Once the adoption has been discussed, a staff member will facilitate a walk-through of the adoption areas or have an animal brought to you in a greeting area.
