About Buddy
Meet Buddy a handsome, lively 1yo German Shepherd who's smart, food-motivated, and eager to learn. He knows sit and drop and enjoys training, but still needs work on loose lead walking and managing his excitement around other dogs, as he can pull and react out of frustration. He's friendly and social once he settles, though he'll benefit from guidance with appropriate play and ongoing group training. Buddy loves his toys and a good game of tug, and with the right training and structure, he'll make a fun and loyal companion. Maybe ok with another dog depending Meet and greet.
Adoption details
Our adoption process is designed to match you with the right pet, the first time. Our team are experts at rehoming animals who have specific needs that match your lifestyle, to ensure every adoption placement will last a lifetime.
At our Peninsula site, adoption hours are 12pm – 4pm. You are welcome to attend our reception office without an appointment to begin our adoption process during adoption hours.
The adoption areas are not free to walk through, and you will need to chat with our staff to confirm that a potential adoption is a good match.
Once the adoption has been discussed, a staff member will facilitate a walk-through of the adoption areas or have an animal brought to you in a greeting area.
