Chilli Pepper is a gentle and sensitive kitty who will need a calm, understanding home to help her feel safe. She should begin in a small "launch room," giving her time to settle before gradually exploring the rest of the house, as large open spaces can feel overwhelming for her. To help build her confidence, Chilli Pepper will benefit from plenty of enrichment such as scratch posts, cat trees, and cozy hiding spots like cardboard boxes or cat igloos. These safe spaces will allow her to relax and observe her surroundings at her own pace. She would do best with a patient adopter who understands she may be timid in a new environment and will need time before showing her true personality. With gentle encouragement and consistency, she will grow more confident. A home with teens or older children is recommended, where they can understand basic cat body language and respect her need for space when she's feeling unsure.
