About Remy
Please meet beautiful Remy our stunning labradoodle. She weighs in at 16.7kg (maybe a kg or so more than she should be but we know how labs love their food!).
This lovely girl is sweet, affectionate and has a playful side that shines once she feels comfortable. She approaches women and girls happily, though she can be unsure around men and boys and may take some time, patience and gentle introductions to warm up to them.
Remy is a big fan of food, so mealtimes are serious business. She will happily finish her dinner and then check if anyone nearby needs help with theirs too, so a slow feeder and separate feeding spaces would be recommended initially if there are other pets in the home.
She is currently living with another dog and doing well, though she does find the cat rather interesting.
Remy can feel a little anxious when left alone, so she will need a family willing to help build her confidence gradually and give her reassurance as she settles in. She is also still learning her leash manners and gets very excited to head out and explore the world.
Underneath it all, Remy is a chill, loving girl with so much to offer. With kindness, patience and guidance, she will make a wonderful companion.
With her breed, her future owners need to be prepared for 8 weekly grooming appointments to keep her looking her best.

How to Adopt: A Step-By-Step Guide:
1. Browse Our Selection: Visit our Animals page and use the menu to view the various pets we have available. Choose between cats and dogs to narrow your search.
2. Expression of Interest: Found a pet that captures your heart? Reach out to us for an Expression of Interest (EOI) form to initiate the process.
3. Patience is a Virtue: We meticulously review every EOI to ensure each animal goes to the right home. Thank you for your patience during this critical stage.
4. Meet Your Potential Pet: If your EOI is approved, we'll organise a Meet & Greet session. It’s a great opportunity for both you and the animal to see if it’s a perfect match.
5. Adoption Application & Home Review: If you're ready to move forward, you'll need to complete our adoption application and agree to a home review.
6. Review & Approval: Your application and home review will be assessed to guarantee a secure, loving environment for your potential pet.
7. Adoption Fee: Upon approval, you'll be required to pay the non-negotiable adoption fee. This fee directly supports our animal care efforts.
8. Welcome Home: Once the fee is processed, we'll coordinate the special day when you can bring your new pet home.
