About Hops
Dear new family, I'm Hops.
I've had a bit of a tough ride getting here. I've survived parvo virus and even a broken leg. I'm a survivor and these days I'm a proud tripod cat, and honestly, it's never slowed me down one bit. I run, I climb everything I can reach, and I absolutely love chasing wand toys. So please don't treat me like I'm fragile. I've got this!
More than anything, I want to be part of the family. I like to know what's going on at all times, which means I'll happily follow you from room to room. If you try to keep me in the bathroom away from the action... well, let's just say I'll have a lot to say about it. I have a serious fear of missing out!
I'm also a bit of a snack detective. I'll look for food anywhere I can find it, and I've been trying (unsuccessfully, I might add) to steal my foster dog's meals. I always get caught-but that doesn't stop me from trying. The second I hear food, I come running!
I've been with my foster carer for quite a while, and she's going to miss me very much. So my new family will need to send her updates, just so she knows I'm doing okay and not causing too much trouble.
I've got a big personality packed into my little three-legged body. I'm energetic, playful, and I get along great with my foster dog. I will admit, I've been a bit spoiled, so meeting new people and other cats can make me a little nervous at first-but I'll get there with a bit of patience.
Oh, and one more thing you'll definitely hear me before you see me sometimes. I have a very loud purr, especially when I'm lounging around on the carpet, living my best life.
If you're looking for a brave, funny, loving little shadow to share your home with, I might just be your girl.
Love,
Hops
