Some bonds are simply too special to break — and Candy and Zoey are one of those pairs.
These two gorgeous girls are deeply bonded and must be adopted together. They sleep side by side, cuddle up on the lounge together, and take great comfort in each other’s company.
Both are very people-focused and love being around their humans. When they first arrived into foster care, they were understandably a little clingy for a day or two while they adjusted — but have since settled beautifully into a calm and affectionate routine.
They are dog-friendly, cat-friendly, and have lovely, easy-going temperaments that make them a pleasure to have around.
Candy is the smaller of the two, with a soft, gentle nature, while Zoey brings a slightly sturdier presence and a whole lot of character. Together, they strike a lovely balance and are happiest simply being near their people.

Both girls are currently overweight and will benefit from a balanced diet and regular gentle exercise to help them reach and maintain a healthy condition.
They have recently been desexed (28 April 2026) and are now ready to find a home where they can continue their lives together.

Adoption details
Dogs:
(1) The first step is to complete the online adoption application form at https://southerndownsark.com.au/apply-to-adopt/ Please answer all questions and include photos of your yard and fencing.
(2) All applications will be considered by our Adoption Team, following which a "meet and greet" will be offered to the top-ranking applicant.
(3) If the “meet and greet" is successful, the applicant may adopt the dog and take him or her home the same day.
(4) For successful interstate applicants, different arrangements may apply and will be negotiated on a case-by-case basis.
Cats:
