Rosie may have started life as a street cat, but youād never know itābecause this girl was clearly born to be adored.
At just 1 year old, Rosemary (better known as Rosie) is one of the most affectionate cats you could ever hope to meet. She has fully embraced the indoor princess lifestyle and is now a devoted, people-loving cuddle machine whose greatest life goal is simply: be as close to you as physically possible.
Rosie is the definition of a velcro cat. If you sit down, sheās already in your lap. If you try to take a photo, good luckāsheāll be too busy headbutting the camera and demanding affection to sit still š
She absolutely lives for cuddles, head scratches, belly rubs, and being the centre of your attention. Her purr is genuinely legendaryāyouāll hear it from across the room before you even see her. She doesnāt just purrā¦ she announces her happiness to the entire household.
Rosieās favourite ātoyā is honestly just people. While sheāll occasionally entertain herself with a ribbon, a feather wand, or a playful wrestle with her kittens, what she truly wants is your company. She is happiest curled up in your lap, soaking up love like itās her full-time job.
Sheās bold, confident, and full of personality. Rosie adjusts quickly to new things (even if she gives the vacuum some side-eye first), and she would do wonderfully in a home where she gets plenty of attention and interaction.
There is just one thing to know: Rosie prefers her humans all to herself š Sheās not a fan of sharing attention with other cats, and would be happiest as the only cat in the home, where she can reign as the undisputed queen she is.

Adoption details
Our adoption process is as follows:
1. Submit an adoption application via our website at www.rescuecatsofmelbourne.com.au/adopt
2. We will be in touch with you within 48 hours if we wish to progress your application.
3. A meet and greet will then be organised so that you can meet your potential new family member!
4. Upon a successful meet and greet, an adoption day will be set for you to come and collect your new family member and sign all required paperwork
All of our cats come de-sexed, vaccinated, microchipped, flea treated, worm treated and with a clean bill of health.
Our 10-Day Health Guarantee: We want you to feel confident in your new family memberās health. We offer a 10-day cooling-off period specifically for health-related concerns. If your kitten shows signs of a pre-existing illness (such as a respiratory infection or parasite) within the first 10 days of arriving home, please contact us immediately. During this window, you have the option to return the kitten for a full refund or work with our rescue team to ensure the kitten receives the necessary care. We are committed to transparency and the wellbeing of our cats.
