About Honey
Honey is looking for her forever home, and she certainly lives up to her name! This sweet girl is the definition of a "gentle soul." Whether she’s leaning in for morning cuddles or walking perfectly on a loose leash by your side, Honey is a total dream to be around.
She is incredibly smart and has been a fast learner in her foster home. Honey is very affectionate and gets along famously with other dogs. In fact, she’d love a home with a furry sibling for company! Honey is also wonderful with children and is nearly 100% toilet trained, just needing those final few encouraging steps to reach the finish line.
If you’re looking for a calm, loving, and golden-hearted addition to your family, Honey is the one for you.
💌A letter from HONEY's foster family
"Over the last few weeks, having Honey in our home has been so simple, easy and rewarding. She learnt our routine in only a few days and was great at understanding when it was play time and when it was time to be calm.
Everyday we would wake up and she would be ready for morning cuddles with us after sleeping in her bed. We would then go for a good walk and practice her impulse control and leash walking. At feeding time she knew to sit and wait until released to eat her breakfast waits patiently outside until we let her in. Right now we are giving her Lyka and some Black hawk kibble! She would then sleep for most the afternoon in her beds around the house nearby the other dogs, or outside in the nice warm sun. She would also be given some meaty treats during the day or a Kong with a little bit of peanut butter.
Once we get home from work she has learnt to sit for us to say hello and not jump around, and then we would have some playtime before having dinner.
After dinner, she actually puts herself to bed to cuddle with Cookie on our bed, and then gets into her own bed when we come to bed and easily sleeps all through the night!"
