Howie is a big, gentle boofa with an even bigger heart.
After spending two months in a rural district pound, Howie has now come into our care so we can give him the best chance of finding the loving home he deserves. He is a handsome, affectionate boy with a beautiful nature and a way of winning hearts wherever he goes.
Howie is obedient for the most part and genuinely wants to do the right thing. Like many big dogs, he may still need a little guidance and consistency as he settles into a new home, but he is responsive, people-focused, and very easy to love.
Due to his sheer size, Howie would be best suited to a home with older children. His happy wagging tail is right at eye height for little ones, and he may not always realise just how much dog there is of him.
For someone looking for a loyal, affectionate companion with presence, personality, and a whole lot of heart, Howie may be the one.
