About Roxy
Roxy is a cheeky and pretty young lady looking for a home where someone is around more often than not. She will require solid, secure fencing, as she has previously escaped by digging under a fence, so it's important that there are no gaps or weak spots.
Roxy would love to be an indoor part of the family. Crate training may benefit her, as it can provide a safe and comfortable space to retreat to when she is feeling unsure or overwhelmed.
At times, Roxy can be avoidant and a little unsure with close handling, particularly around new people. Her new adopter will need to focus on building a strong bond with her and ensuring that all interactions are positive, gentle, and rewarding.
In her previous home, Roxy enjoyed spending time outside and being around the family, and she would thrive in a home where she is included in daily life. She also loves finding a sunny spot to relax and unwind.
Roxy has a playful side and enjoys her toys, especially ball games and tug-of-war.
It is recommended to gradually build up her tolerance to being left alone, starting with short periods and providing plenty of enrichment and long-lasting chews to keep her occupied.
Roxy is open to the right family who can provide patience, structure, and companionship!
