About Wilson - 9 Week Old Mastiff X Staffy
Meet Wilson š¾
Wilson is a 9 week old Mastiff x Kelpie boy who is as adorable as he is full of personality. With his big paws, soft puppy features and those irresistible eyes, heās guaranteed to melt hearts wherever he goes.
Being a Mastiff x Kelpie, Wilson is a unique mix of strength, loyalty and intelligence. He already shows the classic traits of both breeds. Heās people focused, eager to engage, and has plenty of energy to burnā¦before he crashes out snuggled on your lap or in his crate. As he grows, heāll need consistent training, structure and mental stimulation to help him become a well balanced companion.
Wilson is currently in foster care and is doing a great job socialising. He gets along beautifully with his foster dog siblings, both big and small, and is learning important dog manners every day including toilet training and basic commands.
Like any young working breed mix, Wilson will thrive in a home that can provide him with regular exercise, training and enrichment. In return, youāll get a loyal, loving and incredibly clever best mate.

Wilson would love:
ā¢ A patient owner who understands high-energy working breeds and the importance of consistent training, exercise and enrichment.
ā¢ A secure yard to safely run and play.
ā¢ A warm human (or 2) to snuggle up to. A pet sibling would also be great to help him learn the ropes.
His adoption fee is $800 which includes his desexing when he is old enough. It also includes his first two vaccinations. He has been treated for fleas and worms, and is microchipped.
He is in foster care in Merewether, NSW. Since he is not yet desexed, he is only available for adoption to the Lower Hunter region (Newcastle, Lake Macquarie, Port Stephens, Maitland and Cessnock) plus Central Coast and Sydney. He will need to be returned to one of our approved vets for desexing when he's 5 to 6 months old.

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to fill in our online Adoption Questionnaire:

(2) If the questionnaire is approved, we will arrange a property check so we
can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've applied for.
(3) Next, we will arrange for you to meet the pet, usually at the foster
carer's home or at a nearby park.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay the adoption fee*, sign the NSW change of ownership form and our DRN Adoption Agreement and take your new family member home! The two week trial period begins on the day of adoption.
*We prefer payment by funds transfer and don't accept cash or personal
cheques.
