About Snoopy
🐾 MEET SNOOPY — part cuddle bug, part comedian, part beach babe… all heart 💛🐾
If you have ever wanted a dog who can make you laugh, snuggle for hours, play fetch like it’s a professional sport, and paddle at the beach with you… please meet Snoopy 😌
Snoopy is an 1 year and 5 month old Dachshund x Moodle and honestly… he is ridiculously lovable.
At 6.7kg, he’s the perfect “pick up if needed, cuddle constantly” size, and somehow manages to be equal parts sweet little gentleman and complete doofus 😂
Because yes — this boy has range.
One minute he is curled beside you, gazing up adoringly as though you invented snacks…
The next he is throwing his own ball around and entertaining himself like a tiny one-dog circus.
And he looks very proud of himself while doing it.
Snoopy has those beautiful dogs-that-choose-you qualities.
He can be a little shy when meeting new people or bigger dogs — he likes a moment to work things out — but once comfortable?
You’ve got a loyal little shadow.
The kind who follows you around.
The kind who wants to sit beside you.
The kind who hears “good boy” and lights up inside 💛
And if you praise him?
Oh… he lives for that.
He is playful without being wild, affectionate without being demanding, and low maintenance in a way that makes him an absolute joy to live with.
His hobbies include:
🎾 Fetch (he actually brings it back!)
🐾 Random happy zoomies
🧸 Toy wrestling
🏖 Beach paddling in shallow water
🛋 Professional couch cuddling
…and quietly supervising your life from very close range.
He loves short walks, strolls beautifully on lead, and likes to stay close by your side.
He’s also:
✔ Toilet trained
✔ Doggy door trained
✔ Crate trained
✔ Good with children
✔ Good with cats
✔ Very good at stealing hearts
He can be happy as an only dog, but we think he’d love a friendly doggy mate to play with and snuggle up beside.
And while he’s undeniably adorable, it’s his personality that gets you.
He’s funny.
Sensitive.
Goofy.
Gentle.
And full of those little quirks that make you smile all day.
✨ Snoopy in a sentence:
A sweet, silly little sidekick with beach-boy energy, toy obsession, and enough cuddles to fix a bad day 💛🐾
If you’re looking for a dog who will make you laugh, adore you deeply, and occasionally look like a fluffy doofus while doing zoomies…
🐾 Snoopy may just be your boy. 🐾

Once an adoption enquiry is completed our admin team will assess the application and if successful we will arrange for a meet and greet to be completed. We may also request photos of your yard for consideration of your application. Please note that we will do no more than 3 meet and greets per dog.
Approved applicants will be contacted to arrange a time for a meet & greet via email. You must bring your current dog along to the meeting if you are meeting another dog/puppy, this is to ensure they get along before commencing adoption - proof of your dogs up-to-date vaccination is required before any meet and greet is arranged.
Our adoption fee must be cleared in our bank account before any animal is available for pick up. Please note we bank with ANZ - any other bank may take 48 hours to process the monies.
Paw Prints Canine Rescue has a 10 day trial period – this basically means that if for any reason the adoption does not work out and the dog needs to be returned to us, the adoption fee minus an admin fee (minimum is $250) will be returned to the adoptees via bank transfer within 7 working days.
Please note that if an interstate adoption needs to be returned or regional adoption all transport cost with be paid by the adopter.
Please also note while this can be a very exciting time for everyone, it can also be an overwhelming time for dogs and we ask that you do try and allow your new family member to settle in their new home and adjust
INTERSTATE ADOPTIONS **
Any transport costs are to be paid by the adopting family, however we can assist you in helping with transport to airports etc.
** Please note some of our dogs are not available for interstate adoption - each bio will state if available for adoption - please check before applying.
AFTER THE TRIAL PERIOD
After the 10 day trial period is completed Paw Prints Canine will send out all relevant paperwork for your new furbaby via email including the transfer of microchip form.
