About Edna
Meet Edna, a lively, loving cat with a big personality and an even bigger heart. She's incredibly people-oriented and will happily greet you at the door after a long day, chatting away as she follows you from room to room.
This clever kitty has lots of energy to burn and thrives in a home that understands feline needs. She's best suited to a cat-savvy family who can provide regular, structured predatory play sessions (think wand toys, chase games, and interactive play) to keep her mentally and physically satisfied. Environmental enrichment is a must for Edna. She loves opportunities to climb, explore, and express her natural behaviours.
In return, Edna will reward you with endless affection, companionship, and charming conversation. With the right balance of play, enrichment, and love, she'll truly shine as a devoted and delightful member of the family.
Adoption details
Our adoption process is designed to match you with the right pet, the first time. Our team are experts at rehoming animals who have specific needs that match your lifestyle, to ensure every adoption placement will last a lifetime.
At our Peninsula site, adoption hours are 12pm – 4pm. You are welcome to attend our reception office without an appointment to begin our adoption process during adoption hours.
The adoption areas are not free to walk through, and you will need to chat with our staff to confirm that a potential adoption is a good match.
Once the adoption has been discussed, a staff member will facilitate a walk-through of the adoption areas or have an animal brought to you in a greeting area.
