Xingxing

Xingxing is a gentle soul with a soft, cautious approach to the world. In new environments he can be quite shy and easily startled, preferring to take his time to observe from a safe spot while he figures things out. But give him a little patience and a calm, predictable routine, and you’ll see him slowly come out of his shell. Once he feels secure, Xingxing reveals his affectionate side—he’ll seek you out for pats, lean into your hand, and quietly enjoy being near his people.

He’s happiest as the only pet, as he didn’t get along with another cat in his previous home. Xingxing has lived with teenage kids and seemed to enjoy their company, making him a lovely match for a home with mature, gentle children or savvy teens who understand his sensitive nature. Because he can become stressed in busy or unpredictable settings, he does best in a relaxed household and has previously shown some inappropriate urination when overwhelmed. With a calm environment and understanding carers, Xingxing will reward you with quiet companionship and plenty of heartfelt affection.
