Hi there! I’m Henry, a handsome boy with soulful eyes, and like most dachshunds I may be small… but I’m absolutely convinced I’m a very important dog with a big personality.
I’m a cheerful little guy who enjoys life’s simple pleasures — sniffing everything on walks, supervising the household, and accepting cuddles as my well-earned payment.
I’ve got a clever brain tucked inside this long sausage body, and I already know impressive things like sit, wait, stay, and come here. Basically, I’m a smart cookie who likes to make his humans proud. I love to learn new things – especially if a healthy treat is handy!
I’m a friendly fellow and generally enjoy meeting people and other dogs but just as happy on my own. Sometimes if things get a bit busy or chaotic, I can feel a little overwhelmed — but give me a calm human and a reassuring pat and I remember that the world is actually a pretty lovely place and settle quickly.
One of my favourite things in the world is going for walks and exploring. There are just so many interesting smells out there! After a good adventure, I’m more than happy to curl up beside you for some well-earned cuddles and relaxation.
My ideal home would be one where I can enjoy regular walks, lots of affection, and a calm environment where I can feel safe and loved. In return, I promise to bring plenty of loyalty, fun, and dachshund charm into your life.
All I’m really looking for is a home where I can feel safe, loved, and included. A place with a calm environment, loving humans, regular walks, and plenty of affection would suit me perfectly. I am not a fan of children under 12 – they are a little too much for me.
In return, I promise to fill your days with dachshund charm, loyal companionship, and the occasional comedic moment (my legs are short but my personality is enormous).
