About Darryl
Introducing Darryl, an adorable Poodle mix with a heart full of love and a playful spirit that's sure to brighten your days. Weighing in at an adorable 5.6kg, this compact bundle of joy is around five years old and still brimming with enthusiasm for life. He adores going for walks and, although he can pull on the leash, he's generally pretty good on lead and has all the makings of a great walking partner.
A social butterfly, Darryl gets along well with dogs his size, making him a delightful addition to families with other small pups. His affectionate nature shines through in his love for cuddles, and once Darryl snuggles up next to you, you'll feel like there's nowhere else he'd rather be. Despite having spent much of his past life as an outdoor dog, Darryl is incredibly adaptable, ready and eager to transition into the loving home environment he deserves.
Darryl is full of personality and enjoys the thrill of fetching a ball. Just be prepared for a giggle as he retrieves it and gives it a good chew between throws! His keen nose and love of treats make him a prime candidate for training, and he comes when he's called—most of the time, unless something particularly interesting catches his attention.
While he hasn't been tested with cats yet, he's shown a warm nature that indicates his potential to become a beloved family pet. His experience with toilet training is currently unknown, but with patience and consistent guidance, Darryl is likely to pick up household routines like a pro.
If you're looking for a devoted, lively companion who will be a cherished member of your family, Darryl might just be the perfect match. He's eagerly waiting to build memories, share adventures, and enjoy a lifetime of cuddles with you.
Medical notes

Adoption details
Our adoption process is easy. You will receive a application for the animals you are interested in. Please full that in and send it back to us.
Even though you may be first to message, this does not always guarantee you will be chosen to adopt. By no means do we run on a "first in, first served basis". We aim to ensure that our animals are adopted into the most suitable home for them and the new family.
With all our animals, we go on what our vet has told us and what we believe the breed and age to be. We never guarantee the breed or age but take the best educated guess.
Please note: Our shelter is located in the Snowy Mountains. We are a 5 hour drive from Sydney and Melbourne and 2 to 3 hours from Canberra.
