Asher

I know we are biased and think all of our babies are special, but we have an extra soft spot for Asher, also known affectionately as ‘Pretty Boy’. When we first rescued him from our colony, we assumed he was female, due to his stunning looks, but no, sometimes the boys get the eyelashes and exquisite features (don’t you hate that).

From the get go, he has infected us with his gentle nature and calm presence, but mostly, his deep affection for kind humans. His ability to show gratitude and love towards you, simply melts your heart. When he leans in and flops his head on to your shoulder, as if to say ‘I love you’, it feels like a human cuddle. There is no better feeling in the world. If only that level of affection could be taught or learnt. It is rare and it is priceless.

Asher has been through a lot in his short 10 month life. Unfortunately, he had was with someone who was not caring for him properly. Since then, he has been making up for lost time, being given extra love and attention from his foster Mumma. Thankfully, Asher was unaffected by his experience, showing no sign at all of being stressed. The only remnant is some of his white fur is still discoloured, which will return to bright white naturally soon.

Ashers next move deserves to be his last, to a home where he will be treated as the gentleman he is. He is playful with his foster friends, full of energy when it counts, curious, happy and funny. But his most favourite thing to do, is snuggle with his human. He returns your affection twofold, relishing quiet moments to get as close as possible to you, purring loudly and resting a paw on your face as he finds a cozy position under your chin, arm, lap or anywhere else he feel your warmth and love. If you are looking for a companion who will make you feel like the only person in the world, Asher is your boy.

He is great with other cats, so would fit into an existing fur family, although we believe he will remain more affectionate and human focussed if he gets all of your attention. He has never scratched or shown any sign of aggression. He eats well and grooms well. He is beautiful inside and out and cannot wait to find him a human deserving of the lifetime of love he is ready to give.
