About Arthur
Arthur is a sweet, gentle dog who is learning to feel more comfortable in the world around him. He can be a little shy when meeting new people, but with a few tasty treats and a bit of patience, he quickly shows his friendly side. Arthur loves his walks and does well on a harness, preferring to stay close to his person.
New and busy environments can make him a bit unsure, so he's happiest when he can take things at his own pace and watch from a comfortable distance. With encouragement and positive experiences, he's already showing that he can grow in confidence. Arthur may feel overwhelmed around other dogs up close, so he'll need to be the only pet in the home. He's also best suited to an adult-only household and will need a home with a secure backyard where he can feel safe and relaxed.
Overall, Arthur is a lovely dog with lots of potential. He would thrive in a calm, patient home that can help him continue building confidence and enjoying life one step at a time.
