About Lil'guine
Meet Lil’Guine — a truly special little boy
Lil’Guine came into care as a tiny 2–3 week old neonatal kitten and has been hand-raised, which means he absolutely adores people. In fact, he’s one of the most human-loving kittens we’ve ever had — and it shows in everything he does.
This little sweetheart is unbelievably affectionate. His favourite place in the world? Curled up on your chest for a cosy nap. He’ll follow you from room to room, “help” with whatever you’re doing, and happily climb onto your desk if you’re working from home — his supervisor skills are second to none!
Lil’Guine purrs the moment you touch him, gently head-butts for attention, and gives the sweetest little kitten kisses when you lean in. He’s full of confidence, full of love, and ready to be someone’s constant companion.
He also gets along beautifully with other kittens and adult cats, and with his easygoing nature, he would likely do well with a calm, cat-friendly dog too.
Lil’Guine is currently in foster care in Western Sydney and is ready to find his forever home.
If you’re looking for a kitten who will truly bond with you, Lil’Guine is your boy. Complete the online application under his profile to apply, and if successful, one of our volunteers will be in touch to arrange a meet & greet.

Adoption details
STUFF YOU NEED TO KNOW: I will come desexed, vaccinated (1st F3) and microchipped and will have up to date worm and flea treatments.
ADOPTING ME: You must be able to provide me with a loving long term and safe home. I would be fine in an apartment as long as I didn't have free run of the balcony if it wasn't fully enclosed. Please ensure your house or apartment can contain a cat inside (ie fly screens etc).
Please remember that I have thought seriously about taking you on and when you take me home, I am committing to you for life. So, I hope you have thought seriously about this and are likewise planning on committing to me.
ABOUT YOU: Given you know all about me, my foster parents would like to know something about who my new parents are going to be. They have rescued me and have given me a lot of care and love. I know they love me and therefore want the best for me.
ABOUT US: AWL Western Suburbs branch wants to promote adoptions of cats from our foster carers & pounds. If you would like to help us, please feel free to contact us and find out how you may assist, including being a foster parent.
All adoptions will require a Pre-adoption application form completed and returned prior to a meet & greet with our cats. Please note that several people may be applying for the same cat so we need time to review all applicants. We do not re-home to the first to apply, we re-home to who best suits the needs of the cat or kitten. All applications will be considered individually and approval will be at the discretion of the AWL NSW Branch Representative, with their decision being final.
