Meet Harlow 🐾

Harlow is a beautiful girl with a sweet, affectionate nature and a big love for human company. She’s the kind of dog who just wants to be close to her people, enjoying cuddles, companionship, and being included in daily life.

Harlow loves heading out on beach adventures and walks beautifully off lead, happily running ahead for short bursts before quickly returning to check in with her humans — she prefers not to let you out of her sight for long. She’s also a great car companion and travels well, ready to join you wherever the day takes you.

She gets along very well with other dogs and enjoys meeting people. She is friendly and affectionate with everyone she meets.

Harlow is playful in her own way — she prefers interaction with humans over toys, although she does enjoy a good chew toy. Like many clever dogs, she has a mischievous streak and is known to relocate the occasional shoe for safekeeping after sampling it! If she's given an easy option to relocate herself from the yard she will take it and proceed to sit proudly by the front door to say hello.

Harlow lives with and is very interested in cats and would love to be friends, but she sometimes can't help herself but to chase them so depending on what your cat prefers she may or may not be suitable for home with cats!

Because Harlow sometimes grabs hands or feet gently when seeking attention, she would be best suited to a home with older children or adults who can help guide her with calm boundaries as she continues learning polite ways to ask for attention.

Harlow is a loving, loyal companion who thrives on connection and would suit a home where she can enjoy plenty of company, adventures, and cuddles as part of the family.

I CAN FLY TO PERTH!

Flying for a few hours is very important for animals in remote locations because it gives us the opportunity to be adopted. Talk to SAFE about flying me to Perth.

4 THINGS TO CONSIDER BEFORE APPLYING:

1. Time Commitment: Owning a dog is a big responsibility and requires a significant commitment of time and energy. Be sure to consider how much time you can realistically dedicate to caring for a dog and make sure you are prepared to make that commitment.

2. Cost: Owning a dog can be expensive. Make sure to consider the cost of food, medical care, toys, and other supplies. You may also want to think about enrolling your dog in obedience classes or hiring a professional dog walker.

3. Space: Depending on the breed, some dogs require a lot of space. Make sure you have enough room in your home and yard to accommodate a dog before making the decision to adopt.

4. Lifestyle: Think about your current lifestyle and how a dog may fit into it. Consider if you have any restrictions such as travel, work hours, or allergies. Also, think about how owning a dog may affect your social life.

Adoption fee includes vet check, first vaccination*, flea and worm treatment, microchipping and sterilisation at a SAFE approved vet at 6 months of age.

*Puppies may require further vaccination(s) to complete the full vaccination course. This will be at the cost of the new owner and is not included in the adoption fee.
