About Tod
Tod is an 11-week-old American Staffordshire Bull Terrier puppy with a typical cheeky, playful personality. He is a happy little boy who enjoys interaction and is full of puppy energy, curiosity, and enthusiasm for the world around him.
Like many young puppies, Tod can be a bit mouthy when excited, so he will benefit greatly from ongoing positive reinforcement training to help guide his manners as he grows. Puppy preschool or training classes are highly recommended to support his socialisation, basic obedience, and confidence, along with consistent, short training sessions at home.
Crate training will be an important part of Tod's routine, helping him learn to settle, feel secure, and support his toilet training. He will also need plenty of enrichment to keep his busy puppy mind engaged, including chew toys, food puzzles, and structured play.
Tod's journey is being lovingly followed by the TV show For the Love of Pets, capturing his search for the safe, happy forever home he so truly deserves. His story is a special one, and this opportunity allows his new beginning to be shared and celebrated with a wider audience.
To be part of Tod's journey, his future adopter will need to feel comfortable participating in filming. This will include welcoming the film crew to capture the adoption meet at the RSPCA, as well as potentially taking part in a gentle follow‑up visit in the home once Tod has had time to settle in and truly shine in his new environment.
These moments help highlight the incredible impact of adoption and allow Tod's happy ending to inspire others. By choosing to share in this experience, you'll be helping show just how life‑changing a second chance can be - for both Tod and his new family.
