About Leonard
Meet Leonard! This sweet boy hasn't had the easiest start in life, and he's looking for a calm, patient home where he can finally feel safe and understood. He can be a little wary at first, but with gentle, respectful approaches and time to settle, Leonard has the potential to slowly build trust and show his softer side.
He would do best with experienced adults or older teens who understand feline body language and are happy to let him come out of his shell at his own pace. Leonard absolutely loves his food, which makes it a great way to build a bond with him. He would really benefit from positive reinforcement using treats and gentle pats, helping him associate people with good things and grow in confidence.
In the right home, with patience and TLC, Leonard has every chance to blossom into a rewarding and loyal companion.
Adoption details
Our adoption process is designed to match you with the right pet, the first time. Our team are experts at rehoming animals who have specific needs that match your lifestyle, to ensure every adoption placement will last a lifetime.
At our Peninsula site, adoption hours are 12pm – 4pm. You are welcome to attend our reception office without an appointment to begin our adoption process during adoption hours.
The adoption areas are not free to walk through, and you will need to chat with our staff to confirm that a potential adoption is a good match.
Once the adoption has been discussed, a staff member will facilitate a walk-through of the adoption areas or have an animal brought to you in a greeting area.
