About Oreo
Oreo is a chatty, affectionate guinea pig who loves to "talk" and be part of the action. This sweet boy is looking for a caring family who can provide a secure indoor setup where he can feel safe, comfortable, and included in daily life.
Because of his coat colour, Oreo will need to be kept out of direct sunlight to protect his sensitive skin. He may still enjoy some supervised outdoor time, as long as it's in a weather-proof, predator-proof enclosure that keeps him safe and shaded. With a proper introduction, he may also enjoy the company of another friendly guinea pig, pending a successful meet-and-greet.
With the right setup and lots of gentle attention, Oreo will make a delightful and interactive companion.
Adoption details
Our adoption process is designed to match you with the right pet, the first time. Our team are experts at rehoming animals who have specific needs that match your lifestyle, to ensure every adoption placement will last a lifetime.
At our Peninsula site, adoption hours are 12pm – 4pm. You are welcome to attend our reception office without an appointment to begin our adoption process during adoption hours.
The adoption areas are not free to walk through, and you will need to chat with our staff to confirm that a potential adoption is a good match.
Once the adoption has been discussed, a staff member will facilitate a walk-through of the adoption areas or have an animal brought to you in a greeting area.
