Adoption information
About Shelley
Shelley is a gentle, sensitive girl who takes a little time to feel safe in new surroundings. She can be shy when first meeting new people, but with patience and a calm environment, her sweet nature begins to shine through.
Shelley is FIV+, which means she will need to be kept as an indoor-only cat to help protect her health. Sheey would thrive in a quiet, low-traffic home with experienced adults or older teens who understand how to read and respect a cat's boundaries. An indoor-only home with plenty of enrichment will help Shelley feel secure and engaged.
With the right match, Shelley will blossom into a lovely companion who will form a rewarding and trusting bond with her people.
Adoption details
Our adoption process is designed to match you with the right pet, the first time. Our team are experts at rehoming animals who have specific needs that match your lifestyle, to ensure every adoption placement will last a lifetime.
At our Peninsula site, adoption hours are 12pm – 4pm. You are welcome to attend our reception office without an appointment to begin our adoption process during adoption hours.
The adoption areas are not free to walk through, and you will need to chat with our staff to confirm that a potential adoption is a good match.
Once the adoption has been discussed, a staff member will facilitate a walk-through of the adoption areas or have an animal brought to you in a greeting area.
