About Milo
All About Me and My Unique Personality:
Milo is a confident, playful and affectionate little sweetheart. He loves everyone, plays with everything, and after he's done he curls up in your lap for a nap. Milo quickly steals everyone's heart. He does have special needs - please read through his background below.
My Ideal Home:
Milo needs a home which will be prepared to cater for his special needs (see his background below). As with all Hunter Animal Rescue cats, he is to be indoors only. Milo will need someone who is around a lot so he doesn't get lonely.
What is Known About My Background:
Milo was found at the tip by some workers, after a big fall from an excavator bucket, and came into the pound as a solo kitten when he was very young. As a result of this poor start to life, he has had to tackle some pretty big obstacles in foster care, including being quite unwell as a kitten and most significantly, having major gut issues due to his poor nutrition early in his life, leading to malnutrition and being severely underweight. Milo is now stable, however requires daily medication to keep him healthy. This is likely to be required long term (potentially his entire life) and therefore he needs a very special home, who is prepared to continue and fund his treatment throughout his life - and work with vets to support him as needed. In return, Milo will give you so much love.
How Do I Interact with Kids, Dogs, Cats and Other Pets:
Milo gets on well with other cats and would love another cat around so he doesn't get lonely (his health challenges are not contagious). He hasn't met dogs, but may be okay with a cat friendly dog. He would be fine with children and would love to play with them.
Medical notes
