Posie is a fluffy dark tabby with soft swirls in her coat and a story that’s turned from survival to something quietly beautiful.

Once a frightened little kitten doing it tough on the streets, Posie has blossomed into a gentle, pampered house cat who now very much appreciates the finer things in life – soft beds, full bowls, and kind humans.

She’s a wonderfully low-fuss companion, happy to spend time snoozing while you’re out, as long as she has a cosy spot and a few snacks to keep her company. But when you’re home, she’ll softly remind you just how much she’s come to love affection.

Posie has the most incredible deep purr – a rich, rumbling sound that feels like it comes from her very soul. And if you dare to stop patting her before she’s quite finished? She’ll let you know… with sweet little trills and a gentle grab of your leg, as if to say, “Excuse me, I wasn’t done yet.”

Though she still carries a touch of shyness at first, a little patience and understanding go a long way with Posie. Once she feels safe, she offers a quiet, steady kind of love that feels truly special – the kind that’s been earned.

She still has that playful kitten spark too, enjoying little games and moments of silliness, just without the chaos of a younger kitten.

Other cats are a comfort to her, and she would love a calm feline friend to help her settle into her new home. Treats and tasty food are also an excellent way to win her over – she’s very open to negotiation on that front.
