About Evie
Introducing Evie, a charming Chihuahua mix who is looking to find her ideal home. At approximately one year old and weighing in at a petite 3kg, Evie may have had a bit of a shy introduction to life with us. But with time and patience, she has blossomed into a delightful little companion offering a world of love once she gets to know you. Her transformation from a frightened pup to an affectionate friend is a testament to her resilience and capacity for trust.
Evie has shown great potential to form deep and loyal bonds, making her an ideal addition to a household that values a quiet and nurturing atmosphere. Once she is familiar with her surroundings and the family within them, she loves engaging in playful antics. She is known for her sweet nature and has been friendly with other dogs of her size, even getting along with our resident cat. However, Evie is still a work in progress with her lead training, which offers a great opportunity for her new family to bond with her through gentle guidance and support. We are unsure if Evie is house trained so this would need to be worked on.
A loving environment where she feels secure and cherished will enable Evie to fully come into her own. Her penchant for treats will surely help her transition, serving as motivation during training sessions and rewarding good behaviour. With your love and dedicated care, Evie is sure to flourish, becoming a loyal companion who brings warmth and joy to your home.

Adoption details
Our adoption process is easy. You will receive a application for the animals you are interested in. Please full that in and send it back to us.
Even though you may be first to message, this does not always guarantee you will be chosen to adopt. By no means do we run on a "first in, first served basis". We aim to ensure that our animals are adopted into the most suitable home for them and the new family.
With all our animals, we go on what our vet has told us and what we believe the breed and age to be. We never guarantee the breed or age but take the best educated guess.
Please note: Our shelter is located in the Snowy Mountains. We are a 5 hour drive from Sydney and Melbourne and 2 to 3 hours from Canberra.
