About Milo - 8 Year Old Labradoodle
Milo is an 8-year-old chocolate Labradoodle with a beautiful nature and so much love to give.
He is incredibly social and friendly with people and enjoys being out and about with other dogs, having attended group walks where he shows his easygoing, happy personality. Milo loves playing fetch, being chased with his toys, and especially loves the water, he’s always up for a game or an adventure.
He is a very smart and well-trained boy who knows a range of commands including sit, stay, wait, and fetch. He is fully house trained, walks beautifully on the lead, travels well in the car, and responds well to his name. He thrives on structure and routine and really enjoys having clear expectations.
Milo is great with children of all ages, including young kids, and would love to be part of a family where he is included in day-to-day life. He is okay in a home where people work full-time, however he would much prefer a lifestyle where he isn’t left alone for long hours and can enjoy more companionship, attention, and inclusion.
While Milo is social with other dogs in public and enjoys their company, he does display resource guarding behaviours around food, water, and his person. Because of this, Milo must be the only pet in the home no other dogs or animals. He will need an experienced owner who understands resource guarding and is confident in setting clear boundaries and managing his environment to help him feel secure. In the right home, with consistency and guidance, Milo settles beautifully and is a very rewarding companion.
He is a loyal, affectionate, and intelligent dog who will absolutely thrive in the right home where his needs are understood. He has so much love to give and will make a wonderful companion for someone willing to provide him with the structure, stability, and love he deserves.
Milo is low shedding, need regular grooming (brushing a few times a week and professional grooming every 6–8 weeks).
