About Montgomery
Meet Montgomery, or Monty to his friends.
Monty is the perfect boy for someone dreaming of a best friend, shadow and snuggle companion all in one. He is affectionate, sweet natured and happiest when he is close to his humans.
He is also a very brave and curious boy who loves exploring his surroundings and seeing what everyone is up to. His favourite things in life are simple: food, pats and blankets. Especially blankets he can wriggle underneath and turn into his own cozy little nest.
Most of his day is spent snoozing, cuddling up on the bed and soaking up love, but he still has a playful side and will happily show off his zoomies and toy chasing skills when the mood strikes.
Monty is gentle, loving and just the sweetest boy. He would make the most beautiful companion for someone wanting a loyal little best friend to share their home and heart with. 🐾
Medical notes
Montgomery has a history of occasionally leaving small patches of urine when sitting. He has been assessed by a veterinarian, including urinalysis, with these results returning normal/not remarkable. Since being in our care, the frequency of this has reduced and we continue to monitor his progress.

Adoption details
All animals adopted through Out of the Woods Rescue are desexed, vaccinated, microchipped, flea/worm treated and health-checked. We aim to match each animal with a home that suits their needs and personality.
Here’s how our adoption process works:
Submit an application – This helps us get to know you, your household and what you're looking for in a pet.
Phone chat – If your application looks like a potential fit, one of our team members will contact you for a casual phone conversation to answer questions and discuss the animal in more detail.
Meet and greet – You’ll meet the animal in their foster home or another agreed location. If everyone agrees it’s a good match, we can proceed to adoption.
Adoption paperwork and payment – Our adoption fees cover desexing, microchipping, vaccination and parasite treatment.
Once adopted, the animal becomes part of your family. We're still here for post-adoption support if you ever need any help.
We’re committed to ethical adoptions and reserve the right to decline applications if we feel the match isn’t in the best interest of the animal.
