Come and Meet Tex!

Tex is a beautiful Cane Corso mix and a true gentle giant, around 3.5 years old and already sterilised.

He originally came through rescue as a puppy, and he has always been a much-loved boy. In fact, our Operations Manager still has his mum, Miss Joan, who became a very special foster fail.

Sadly, Tex has recently found himself back in care after a disagreement with the other dog in his home. They had been best mates for three years, so we do not know what triggered the conflict, but the incident understandably frightened his owner and Tex was returned to rescue.

This does not reflect the dog we know Tex to be. He is generally a soft, gentle, low-energy boy who has usually loved other dogs and enjoys a calm, steady environment. He is now looking for a soft place to land with people who will give him kindness, structure and time to settle.

Tex walks beautifully on the lead and is an affectionate boy.

Tex will suit a home that understands large dogs and can offer him calm leadership, sensible introductions and the security of being loved again.
