Winnie is a Kelpie x German Shepherd pup with a big personality and an even bigger zest for life. She’s the kind of dog who wakes up ready to go, whether that’s a bushwalk, a swim, a run around the paddock, or jumping in the car for a new adventure. If you’re active, she’ll be right there beside you (or slightly ahead, because… excitement 😆).

Winnie has what our trainer calls a real “spark” she’s bright, switched-on, and always ready to engage with the world around her. She’s incredibly smart, eager to learn, and thrives when she’s given guidance and structure. She’s already completed puppy school and absolutely smashed it, showing just how capable she is when given the chance.

While Winnie is full of energy, she also has a lovely loyal side. She bonds closely with her people and likes to keep you within eyesight, your little shadow with four legs. She’s very food motivated, which makes training both fun and rewarding, and she’s already crate and toilet trained.

Her Kelpie instincts are strong, so she loves a good chase, balls, sticks, leaves, or even livestock if given the chance. Because of this (and her enthusiasm), Winnie will need a confident owner who can continue her training and help her learn that calm behaviour gets the best rewards.

Winnie’s ideal home:

* Active individual or couple who want a dog to join in on daily adventures
* Someone committed to ongoing training and enrichment
* A home without young children (no kids under 10, as she can get a bit too excited)
* Another medium–large dog would be a big bonus for playtime
* Space to run and outlets for both her physical and mental energy

Winnie isn’t a couch potato, she’s a working-breed mix who will absolutely thrive in a home that keeps her busy, engaged, and included. In return, you’ll get a clever, loyal, and endlessly entertaining companion who’s always up for whatever you throw her way.
