Meet the sweetest boy, Huey❣️
This charming 3-year-old Dachshund is looking for a home that appreciates his loving nature. Huey is the kind of dog who thrives on companionship, and he adores being by your side throughout the day, making him a perfect little buddy for a couple working from home. He would be best in a low-set home due to his little legs ❣️.
Huey is a sensitive boy and he would love to have another small dog buddy to keep him company. He appreciates a fellow canine friend who enjoys playtime without pushing him around. Although he can be vocal around bigger dogs on walks, he quickly settles down.
Huey needs a home with secure fences. While he's not been around cats, his preference is to be with dog-loving humans, and children over 10 years old can best appreciate his loving personality without overwhelming him.
If you can provide a comforting, secure space for Huey and welcome him inside as a beloved member of your family, you'll find endless joy in his snuggles.

Adoption details
We list animals for adoption on Pet Rescue as well as on our own Animals-in-Need-Brisbane website. We talk with people who contact about an animal to see what their needs and situation are. Our emphasis is on getting the right animal for the people and the right people for the animal. If everyone's needs are met things usually work out well.
If the situation sounds good we arrange a meeting. If all goes well we let people try the animal out for a couple of weeks to ensure that everyone is happy.
We keep records of all adopters, follow up to ensure all is well and undertake to take back any animal if circumstances change.
