Hi, I’m Tallulah!
I came into care with my siblings when our breeder could no longer keep us, and now I’m ready to find a home of my own.
I’m a sweet, affectionate girl with a playful, cheeky side. I love a good snuggle just as much as I love zooming around the yard chasing balls (and occasionally my own tail). I live with a sibling and another large breed dog who I get along great with, as well as human children. I'm a great family dog!
I’ve already made a great start on my training. I can sit, drop, and shake hands, and I’m currently working on stay and come. I’m a clever girl who enjoys learning, so I’ll thrive in a home that keeps this going. My toilet training is also coming along really well, with only the occasional accident as I figure things out.
I’m polite around food and have lovely natural manners. I can be a little unsure on lead at first, but once I’m out and about, I really enjoy walks and exploring the world. A walk a few times a week would make me very happy.
Like most puppies, I’m still learning how to handle being left alone. When bored, I can get stressed so I’ll need a home that understands this and is committed to setting me up with structure, enrichment, and routine- and has another canine friend for company, or an owner who will be with me more often than not. I am not suited to being an only dog with full time workers.
My ideal home is one where:
• There’s another dog for me to bond with, or owners home a lot
• Someone is committed to continuing my training
• I’m included as part of the family (not just left to my own devices)
I’m a mixed breed and still growing, so I’ll need secure fencing and an owner ready for a large dog with medium energy levels. My dad is a boxer x mastiff and my mum is a staffy x arab, both with beautiful natures. I’m a fun, loving pup with a lot of potential, but I’m not a “set and forget” dog. I'm a teenager, I need boundaries and love and I'll reward you by being the best friend you've ever hard.

Adoption details
Before applying, you should have the following already confirmed:
1. Real estate approval (if renting)
2. A rates notice as proof of home ownership (if owner)
3. Secure, suitable fencing and outdoor shelter
4. Ability to meet the pet’s dietary needs (breed size, age, medical requirements)
5. Capacity to provide appropriate enrichment, exercise, and training
To apply, you must complete the OTC Adoption Application. This form is an expression of interest only and is not a contract. The application takes approximately 15 minutes to complete. Some applicants may take more or less time. This timeframe gives an indication of the level of detail required at the initial screening stage.
We do not approve meet-and-greets without a completed and approved application. Applications must be completed in full; incomplete applications will not be followed up. Required photos of yard and fencing must be provided within 48 hours or the application will not proceed. Photos may be sent via our Facebook page or emailed to offthechaink9rescue@outlook.com.
Due to the volume of behind-the-scenes work, we are not always able to contact applicants whose application is not a suitable match for the pet they have applied for, however we do endeavour to do so where possible. You are welcome to request an update or outcome at any time via email or our facebook page inbox and we will respond as soon as we can.

Transport Information
1. Transport is considered only after an adoption application has been submitted. Please apply before sourcing transport to avoid unnecessary arrangements and delays if you are not approved.
2. Submit an adoption application as outlined above.
3. Obtain transport quotes and select your preferred provider. We recommend Aeropets, Jetpets, Dogtainers, or Pet Waggin for road transport.
4. Advise us via email or Facebook message that you have applied and are beginning the transport sourcing process. This is a good time to advise any additional details, such as holding periods or limited departure days.
5. If your adoption application and transport plans are proceeding, we will coordinate departure, fit-to-fly/road requirements, food delivery, and any other necessary elements with you.
6. Adoption contracts, adoption fees, and photo ID must be submitted before the animal is released to transport.
7. Transport approval is subject to the individual animal’s suitability for travel and the standard of care provided by the selected transport company. Not all animals will be approved for transport. If an animal is not suitable to travel, this will be clearly stated on their adoption profile.
