Hi. I’m Eden.

I’m the kind of dog who will choose you over everything else — your lap, your couch, your shadow, your day.

I love deeply. I snuggle hard. I follow you from room to room because being near you feels like home.

I’m still learning the rules of this world, but I’m a very good learner. If you tell me calmly, I understand quickly. I want to do things right — I just need you to show me.

I love my toys, my food, and I really love playing. Sometimes I get a bit excited and forget my size or strength, so I need someone who can guide me gently but clearly.

I notice everything. Especially small moving things in the yard. I like to chase them! I’ll need a safe yard and someone who understands that I come from a life where I had to think for myself.

I am not a “leave me alone in the backyard” kind of dog. I am a “let’s do life together” kind of dog. I need connection. I need someone who enjoys having a shadow who thinks they are part of the furniture.

I love other dogs I know well, and I adore my people. Sometimes I get worried when someone leaves, because I like my pack close, but I’m learning that people come back.

I also really love car rides (a bit too much… I once tried to lead the adventure myself), so I’ll need someone who keeps me safe and secure when we travel.

If you’re someone who wants a dog who will love you fully, learn with you, and be your companion in the truest sense — I think I might be your girl.

I’m affectionate. I’m clever. I’m sensitive. I’m funny. I’m sometimes a bit of a handful. And I’m absolutely worth it !

I CAN FLY TO PERTH!

Flying for a few hours is very important for animals in remote locations because it gives us the opportunity to be adopted. Talk to SAFE about flying me to Perth.

4 THINGS TO CONSIDER BEFORE APPLYING:

1. Time Commitment: Owning a dog is a big responsibility and requires a significant commitment of time and energy. Be sure to consider how much time you can realistically dedicate to caring for a dog and make sure you are prepared to make that commitment.

2. Cost: Owning a dog can be expensive. Make sure to consider the cost of food, medical care, toys, and other supplies. You may also want to think about enrolling your dog in obedience classes or hiring a professional dog walker.

3. Space: Depending on the breed, some dogs require a lot of space. Make sure you have enough room in your home and yard to accommodate a dog before making the decision to adopt.

4. Lifestyle: Think about your current lifestyle and how a dog may fit into it. Consider if you have any restrictions such as travel, work hours, or allergies. Also, think about how owning a dog may affect your social life.

Adoption fee includes vet check, first vaccination*, flea and worm treatment, microchipping and sterilisation at a SAFE approved vet at 6 months of age.

*Puppies may require further vaccination(s) to complete the full vaccination course. This will be at the cost of the new owner and is not included in the adoption fee.
