Meet Ghost & Patrick – An Unlikely Friendship Looking for a Forever Home 🐹❤️
Not every guinea pig has an easy start in life. Sweet Ghost is just 7 months old and has already overcome more than most. Despite his difficult beginning, he has grown into a gentle, handsome boy who is ready to leave his past behind and find a family of his own.
His best mate Patrick is 11 weeks old and was born safely in our care. This cheeky young lad has never known hardship and brings plenty of confidence, curiosity and fun to the pair.
Together, Ghost and Patrick make the perfect duo. Ghost seems to take comfort in Patrick’s happy-go-lucky attitude, while Patrick loves having his big friend by his side. They can often be found exploring together, sharing snacks, or relaxing side by side.
For some reason, these gorgeous boys keep being overlooked, but we know their perfect family is out there somewhere. Could it be you?

Adoption details
Qld Guinea Pig Refuge holds open days at the Albany Creek Scout Den in North Brisbane on the first and third Saturday of each month. All adoptions require pre-approval and your application form should be submitted for processing at least two days prior.
The adoption fee for our guinea pigs is $25 each. Desexed guinea pigs are $35 each. They come fully health checked; worm and mite treated; and have been living at their foster carer’s house where they receive handling time.

Qld Guinea Pig Refuge is a guinea pig shelter dedicated to helping mistreated, abused, and unwanted guinea pigs in Queensland. To ensure they live a happy and healthy life, our guinea pigs are rehabilitated under our no euthanasia policy and then adopted under our strict adoption policy.
