About Katara
🖤 Meet Katara – a sweet and social girl who loves being part of the family 🖤
Katara is incredibly loving and friendly, always happiest when she’s close to her people. Her favourite spot is right by your feet, where she can quietly keep you company as you go about your day. She has a warm and affectionate nature that makes her a joy to be around.
She gets along beautifully with both humans and other cats, and enjoys spending time with everyone. Whether she’s playing with her siblings or chatting to the birds outside the window, Katara always finds ways to keep herself entertained
On chilly days, you’ll often find her stretched out in a sunny patch, soaking up the warmth and enjoying a cosy nap. She's also very food motivated—treats are a sure way to win her heart.
Due to our single kitten policy, Katara must be adopted into a home with a friendly resident cat, or alongside another kitten such as her foster friends Zuko or Sokka who are also available for adoption.
If you’re looking for a loving, social companion who will happily stay by your side and bring warmth to your home, Katara could be the perfect fit. 🐾

Adoption details
All animals adopted through Out of the Woods Rescue are desexed, vaccinated, microchipped, flea/worm treated and health-checked. We aim to match each animal with a home that suits their needs and personality.
Here’s how our adoption process works:
Submit an application – This helps us get to know you, your household and what you're looking for in a pet.
Phone chat – If your application looks like a potential fit, one of our team members will contact you for a casual phone conversation to answer questions and discuss the animal in more detail.
Meet and greet – You’ll meet the animal in their foster home or another agreed location. If everyone agrees it’s a good match, we can proceed to adoption.
Adoption paperwork and payment – Our adoption fees cover desexing, microchipping, vaccination and parasite treatment.
Once adopted, the animal becomes part of your family. We're still here for post-adoption support if you ever need any help.
We’re committed to ethical adoptions and reserve the right to decline applications if we feel the match isn’t in the best interest of the animal.
