Hi there… I’m Linda. I’ve come a long way since arriving in care. Life started out a little uncertain for me, so I can still be a bit shy, but I’m a gentle, curious kitten who is learning more each day that people can be safe and kind.

I like to quietly observe and take everything in. Once I feel comfortable, I’m happy to accept gentle pats. I also have a playful side and love chasing toys, your feet (under quilts), or even batting at your hands. If you pick me up, I’ll happily snuggle in close and enjoy the moment.

Food (especially chicken!) and playtime really help my confidence grow. So grab a wand toy and shake it my way and then we can snack afterwards while we bond.

Companions (Children, Cats & Dogs)
I’ve have lived in a family with teenagers, so I’m used to people being around, I prefer things calm and predictable, so quiet respectful children would be better.

I get along really well with other cats and kittens and enjoy being part of their little group.

It’s unknown if I’ve met dogs, due to my shy nature I may be better with no dogs or possibly with a calm cat savvy dog, with proper slow introduction.

Likes / Dislikes
Playtime is important to me, and food definitely helps me feel more confident and connected.

I enjoy quiet spaces where I can relax and feel safe—beds, cat trees, and cosy hideaways are my favourites.

Busy, noisy environments and sudden movements are not for me and can make me unsure, so I do best when things are gentle and unhurried.

Meeting new people may take me a little time to come out of my shell.

My PURR-fect home would be a patient one where I can build my confidence at my own pace. A gentle individual, couple, or family with older children would suit me best. A friendly young cat would also help me feel more secure. I may not be an instant lap cat, but with time and understanding, I’ll continue to blossom.

Perth Rescue Angels recommends all cats are indoor only, unless they have access to a secure cat enclosure.
