Max Clarke came into care after being found in a backyard alongside his mum and siblings, and from the very beginning it was obvious this boy was something special. Packed into one sleek little body is a huge personality, endless curiosity, and enough charm to keep everyone smiling.

With his extra-long tail, athletic build and striking presence, Max has the kind of confidence that instantly draws you in. He approaches life like it’s one giant adventure playground, always ready to investigate, explore and turn ordinary moments into pure entertainment.

Max is the ultimate little “purrfect detective.”
If there’s a cupboard open, a toy rolling across the floor, or somewhere he probably shouldn’t be climbing, Max is already on the case. He absolutely loves interactive play and thrives on stimulation, especially chasing string toys, toy mice, golf balls, shadows and even imaginary playmates racing through the house.

This delightful little bachelor is endlessly entertaining, cheeky in all the best ways, and guaranteed to keep you laughing with his playful antics and larger-than-life character.

But underneath all that confidence and energy is a softer side waiting to be discovered.

Max is the kind of cat who shows you who he truly is gradually, and once he trusts you, it is absolutely worth the wait. He enjoys affection very much on his terms and has the sweetest habit of gently demanding attention when he decides it’s cuddle time.

His favourite moments include:

• Curling up on your knees while you relax
• Back scratches and chin rubs
• Having both ears gently played with (this is when the loud purring starts!)
• Melting into your arms after a busy day of adventures

While Max cherishes his independence, he also genuinely enjoys being around his people and being included in daily life. He would thrive in an active, loving home where he has plenty of interaction, enrichment and playtime.

A calm household would suit him best, as loud noises such as vacuum cleaners and slamming doors can make him uneasy while he settles in.

To help him adjust confidently, Max would benefit from starting out in a small cat-proof room where he can safely familiarise himself with his new surroundings at his own pace.

Max shares a lovely bond with his sibling Monti and they could be adopted together. However, Max is also confident enough to thrive on his own, provided he has a home that can offer him the engagement, stimulation and love he craves.

To adopt from us you'll be required to have minimum an online meet & greet, a remote house check, show photo ID & proof of address, and fill out & sign an adoption contract.
Our animals are fully vet checked, flea treated, wormed, vaccinated and desexed before being advertised. They are evaluated for behavioural traits, fed a high-quality diet, and any known issues are communicated. NOT NEGOTIABLE CONDITIONS: indoor only/restrained to property & must be fed raw or vet prescription wet food.
We will communicate through every step of the process to ensure that the experience is excellent and your feline companion is the right fit. Read the contract for T&Cs for returns.
You must have residency in Australia to adopt from our group. If you are visiting or on a visa, talk to us about fostering instead!
