About Max Clarke
Max Clarke came into care after being found in a backyard with his mum and siblings, and from the very beginning it was clear he was going to be a big personality in a sleek little package.
A striking black kitten with an extra-long tail and a solid, athletic build, Max is a confident, curious adventurer who approaches life like it’s one big playground. He’s bright, playful and endlessly entertaining – the kind of kitten who turns even the most ordinary moment into something fun (and often a little chaotic).
Max is what you might call a “purrfect detective,” always investigating something – whether it’s a new toy, a cupboard you just opened, or somewhere he absolutely shouldn’t be climbing. He loves zooming around chasing string toys, toy mice and even golf balls, and will happily keep himself (and you) amused for hours.
Despite all that energy, Max also has a softer side. He enjoys affection, back and chin scratches, and cuddles – very much on his terms — and when he chooses to settle, he’ll happily melt into your arms for some quality snuggle time. He also has a sweet habit of gently demanding attention, making sure you never forget he’s there.
Max would thrive in an active, engaging home where he can be part of the action. He needs people who have the time and energy to play, interact and include him in daily life. Loud noises like vacuum cleaners and slamming doors can unsettle him, so a home that isn’t overly chaotic would suit him best.
He shares a bond with his sibling Monti and they could be adopted together, though Max is confident enough to also do well on his own with the right level of engagement and enrichment.
Max Clarke is a fun, affectionate and delightfully cheeky kitten who will keep you laughing, keep you busy, and then curl up with you at the end of the day. If you’re looking for a kitten full of personality and charm, Max is ready to take on the role.
Max Clarke is a healthy raw/high quality fed male kitten who has been wormed, flea treated, vaccinated, desexed and microchipped (microchip #956000018446329, source #RE101165). His adoption fee also includes his second vaccination at one of our rescue vets. He is available for adoption right now!
