Bucket is a wonderfully balanced kitten. He has a lovely independent streak and loves to spend his time exploring every nook and cranny of his environment. However, donāt let his adventurous spirit fool youāhe is a total softie at heart. The moment you pick him up, he turns into a vibrating ball of fluff, purring instantly!
š Home Life
Confidence: While he might be a little cautious in a brand-new space, it doesnāt last long. He warms up quickly and soon becomes the confident king of the castle.
The High Ground: Bucketās favourite spot is anywhere up high. Heās a curious boy who likes to keep a watchful eye on the household happenings from a birds-eye view.
Noise & Commotion: He doesnāt require a quiet home; heās happy to be part of the action!

Favourite Hobby: Anything that dangles! Bucket is easily entertained and will happily lie on his back in your arms, swatting at a piece of ribbon like a tiny acrobat. š
Motivation: He is very food motivated and loves his treats, but heās just as happy to receive head scratches and cuddles.

Bucket is looking for a home where he can stay with his sister, Napkin. They are a fantastic duo who love to play together, and because Bucket isn't suited to being a solo cat, they are looking for a loving, fun home that has room for two!

Adoption details
Our adoption process is as follows:
1. Submit an adoption application via our website at www.rescuecatsofmelbourne.com.au/adopt
2. We will be in touch with you within 48 hours if we wish to progress your application.
3. A meet and greet will then be organised so that you can meet your potential new family member!
4. Upon a successful meet and greet, an adoption day will be set for you to come and collect your new family member and sign all required paperwork
All of our cats come de-sexed, vaccinated, microchipped, flea treated, worm treated and with a clean bill of health.
Our 10-Day Health Guarantee: We want you to feel confident in your new family memberās health. We offer a 10-day cooling-off period specifically for health-related concerns. If your kitten shows signs of a pre-existing illness (such as a respiratory infection or parasite) within the first 10 days of arriving home, please contact us immediately. During this window, you have the option to return the kitten for a full refund or work with our rescue team to ensure the kitten receives the necessary care. We are committed to transparency and the wellbeing of our cats.
