About Romeo
****AI generated responses to our adoption questionnaire will not be accepted****
Meet Romeo – a survivor in the true sense.
Romeo had a very hard start to his life and has been left with some life long reminders. He has had several teeth removed and one eye removed.
However, he doesn’t mind any of this and is just looking to the future.
Romeo is a three-year-old Kelpie with a beautiful blue and tan coat and an even more beautiful heart. Despite a tough start in life where he went without the basics, Romeo has held onto his love for people. He’s a gentle, affectionate boy who’s ready to find a home where he can make amazing new memories.
**you must have acreage and another happy, gentle dog**
Romeo would suit an active household that understands the needs of working breeds. Like most Kelpies, he’s intelligent and energetic, and he’ll do best with regular exercise, mental stimulation, and a sense of purpose. Whether it’s long walks, outdoor adventures, or interactive games, Romeo is keen to be involved in it all.
He gets along well with other dogs and would really benefit from having a confident canine companion to help him continue building his confidence. While he can still be a little sensitive to loud noises, he’s already shown that with patience, love, and reassurance, he can overcome his fears.
Romeo has excellent basic training but as with all working dogs, he will benefit from continued training.
Romeo is looking for:
A home with an active, engaged lifestyle
An owner familiar with working or high-energy breeds
A friendly dog companion
Someone who will include him in family life
A patient and kind environment where he can keep growing in confidence
In return, Romeo will give you unwavering loyalty, companionship, and plenty of love.
He’s a special dog who just needs the right person to show him what a happy, love filled life can look like.
If you’re ready for a devoted mate and a life filled with adventure, Romeo might just be the perfect fit.
Medical notes
Romeo has had several teeth removed and an eye removal.
