About Mimi

Mimi was rescued off the street with his best friend Gigi, as he had a necrotic tail. After receiving life-saving surgery, he's become a bunny! And finally being pain-free has transformed him into the sweetest boy ever, who lives for affection and love. He even jumps up into your hand as you reach down to pat him!
In fact, he adores pats so much that he'll even stop eating if you pat him so he can focus on the sheer joy of it (disclaimer: this only relates to dry food as nothing comes between him and wet food!). Mimi also counts creamy treats (or any snacks really) and cosy naps among his favourite things in the world :)
Mimi is a simple boy at heart, and with these modest needs taken care of, he'll love and cherish you for the rest of his life!
Like all Maggie’s pets, Mimi is microchipped, desexed, and vaccinated.

MY IDEAL HOME: The humans I've met in foster care have been so wonderful, but I'm still getting used to my new circumstances so I'm looking for a quiet, patient home - ideally with my bestie Gigi! I may take some time to feel comfortable, so I'm seeking a low-pressure environment where I can take every step at my own pace. Loads of reassuring pats and delicious creamy treats are sure to speed up the process!
MY ENERGY LEVEL: I'm full of beans and curiosity! If I'm not napping, I'm almost certainly playing with you, Gigi or the kittens in my foster home - or getting up to mischief with Gigi on the kitchen counter (we discovered a half-opened pack of wet food once, so we're ever-hopeful!). If you need to find me, I'm easily summoned by the sound of a bell jingle or a cat wand :)
MY SUITABILITY TO CHILDREN: My new humans should be adults only please. A family with teenagers aged 16+ might work too.
MY SUITABILITY TO CATS AND DOGS: I adore other cats - especially kittens!
I'm not so sure about dogs. Though I've never met one, I think they might be a bit too big and noisy for my tastes.
Speaking of tastes - did I mention I love creamy treats?

We ask all people looking to adopt to fill in our adoption enquiry form at https://form.jotform.co/92940837256870. Please use this link rather than the 'Enquire' button on the pet's PetRescue profile to streamline your enquiry.
Our foster carer will contact you when we receive your application to arrange a time for you to meet with their foster pet.
We want your adoption through Maggie's to be a good experience so we will occasionally suggest a different cat or dog that may suit your situation better and the needs of the individual pet.
All our pets leave for their new homes on a two-week trial. At the end of the trial, we will transfer the microchip into your name and provide you with the pets vet certificates. Once you receive the Certificate of Identification from council, your adoption will be complete.
Please consider, that a Maggie's Pet is a pet for Life, before adopting.
