Meet Nova 🐾
🐶 Personality:
Nova is a medium-energy girl with a lovely balance of playfulness and calm. She can be a little cautious when first meeting new people, but she warms up quickly and shows her affectionate, loyal nature. Nova enjoys playing, especially with her furry foster brother PJ, and happily shares toys without any fuss. She has been good around a young child when interactions are supervised. Nova is curious by nature and has shown a gentle interest in chickens without any signs of aggression. She is unsure around unfamiliar dogs at first, but with slow, positive introductions she really enjoys their company and loves to play.
🎓 Training:
Nova has a great foundation and is eager to learn. She has mastered sit and stay, and is currently working on her drop. Her recall is very good, and she shows excellent manners at feeding time, patiently waiting for the command to eat. Nova is fully house trained, sleeps soundly through the night on her own bed, and has been crate trained (though she no longer needs to use it). She thrives with consistency and will benefit from ongoing positive training to continue building her confidence.
🏠 Perfect Home:
Nova would suit an active, dog-savvy home committed to continuing her training and helping her reach her full potential. She could do well in a home with another friendly, well-matched dog, or with a couple where someone is home more often to provide companionship. With the right guidance and environment, Nova will grow into a well-rounded, loyal companion who loves being part of everyday life.
