About Mabel
Meet Mabel, an adorable Labradoodle with a gentle and endearing spirit. Though initially shy and reserved, once she's comfortable and familiar with her surroundings, Mabel blossoms into a loving companion. Her ideal companion is another confident dog who can guide her and help bring out her playful, affectionate side. Together, they can explore the world, with Mabel finding assurance in a friend's presence.
Mabel navigates life with a mix of curiosity and caution. Public outings can bring out some anxiety, but her confidence shines once she feels comfortable. She walks beautifully on a lead, always alert and observant. Her home base is just as seamless, as she easily uses the doggy door to access her favourite outdoor spots for play or a little sunbathing. A household that embraces Mabel's need for patience and gradually introduces her to new experiences will see her truly blossom.
She has a great rapport with other dogs, introducing herself gently, and thrives in a family where she has other canine companions. In fact, pairing her with a confident dog boosts her own self-assurance, fostering a strong bond and establishing her place within the family pack.
Mabel weighs a healthy 16.3 kg and might need cortisone drops in her ears to manage yeast buildup – a simple treatment that's not too frequent or costly. These are needed only once a week and might be an important consideration. Her playful nature shines when she’s interacting with her beloved soft toys, perfect for her gentle Lab mix strength, though tennis balls don't stand a chance with her enthusiastic play.
Embrace Mabel’s unique personality, and she'll reward you with loyalty, love, and joyful companionship. Whether it's soft toy games at home or calm, enjoyable walks, Mabel is ready to form a lasting bond in a welcoming, understanding home.
Regular grooming is a MUST.
Medical notes
Occasional yeast infection in ears.
Benign lumps removed from leg.
