About Andie
Meet Andie! A gentle and curious 3-year-old girl who is just beginning to discover the world after being rescued from a puppy farm. When she first arrived in foster care, she was extremely scared and unsure - too frightened to eat, drink, or even go to the toilet. Over the past five weeks, she has made beautiful progress and is slowly learning to trust, enjoy gentle cuddles, and feel safe in a home environment.
She has a calm nature with a sweet, blossoming playful side that comes out once she feels secure. Andie loves relaxing in sunny spots, being close to her people, and following her foster dog brother, who has been a big part of building her confidence. She can be wary of new people and unfamiliar sounds, but with patience and reassurance, she settles and shows her soft, affectionate personality.
Andie will need a calm and understanding home that can continue supporting her journey. She would thrive with another gentle dog for companionship and someone who is home most of the time to help guide her, especially as she continues her toilet training. She is crate trained and making progress using puppy pads, but will need ongoing consistency and patience. She is also learning to walk on lead and is gaining confidence with slow, gentle outings.
Andie is a very special little girl who has already come such a long way from a difficult start in life. She is looking for a kind and patient home that will give her the time, love, and security she needs to keep growing. In return, she will become a deeply loyal and devoted companion, and watching her continue to blossom will be incredibly rewarding.
